And as a double whammy, the price I paid drops in a few months and now I\u2019m a real sucker.<\/p>\n<p>Apple doesn\u2019t have an iPad (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\">www.apple.com<\/a>) to show you yet before you pre-order it. But, if you have an iPhone, just think bigger. I do, so it doesn\u2019t take a lot of imagination. But is it the best choice?<\/p>\n<p>HP announced their HP Slate \u2013 but it won\u2019t be available until the end of the year. Ugh!<\/p>\n<p>I found an Archos 9. It\u2019s at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archos.com\">www.archos.com<\/a> and is considered an \u201cInternet Tablet\u201d \u2013 their terminology , not mine. It runs Windows 7 Starter. It has usb ports and a camera and can install any Windows software \u2013 unlike an iPad. It\u2019s even less money than an iPad. But, if I want 3G support, I\u2019ll pay more per month.<\/p>\n<p>So now I have to think. What\u2019s important? The ability to always know it\u2019s charged and can be \u201con\u201d instantly? Then, the iPad or other such device. Or is it more important that I can run my Windows applications and can use a stylus to write on the screen using Microsoft OneNote (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/onenote\">www.microsoft.com\/onenote<\/a>). Then, the Archos 9 will prove more useful.<\/p>\n<p>Or perhaps I can buy both and use double sided tape and connect them back to back!
