In the past, the operating systems usually lagged the hardware. How long were 64-bit processors out before we had a 64-bit operating system? The same goes for 32-bit. But with Microsoft Windows 8 it\u2019s the other way around. It\u2019s really cool. It\u2019s loaded with new features -social networking, cloud interoperability and touch. The latter is the issue. You need a touch screen to really have fun with Windows 8.<\/p>\n
So, who has a touch screen? Well there are no Windows 8 tablets yet. We didn\u2019t need it with Windows 7. Surprise! So, if you plan on playing with Windows 8 or buying a PC with it at years end, add a new monitor to your budget.<\/p>\n
